"how many Super Mario games are there NOW?" progress update

as you're probably aware, there's a survey I've been trying to get ten thousand people to take. I'm not going to be able to seriously analyze the data until after it's already closed, and I don't want to close it before there are enough responses for the data to be reasonably statistically significant.

that said, it's a very long survey! and understandably, responses are taking a long time to come in, and despite my best efforts they aren't speeding up. in the interest of actually getting this project done so I can move on to other things, I'm going to need to close the survey at some point.

so! while I haven't decided a deadline yet, I have decided when I'll decide the deadline! people who are supporting me on patreon (thanks!) and who are in the "Conglang" Community discord server (not linking it, to avoid spam. by the way did you know I'm on tumblr? janmisali dot tumblr dot com, check it out) may have seen me recently post WIPs for a music track I'm working on called "remixed end" (at the time of writing, three (3) people total in the server have reacted to it. so you probably weren't aware that this is a thing).

I've decided that the survey will be closed one week after "remixed end" is complete. I will make a public announcement on youtube and tumblr and patreon when this happens.

in the meantime, now is the second-to-last chance to take the survey! it's okay and understandable if you don't want to, but it would be very helpful to me if people could spread the survey around so that more people who don't watch my videos take the survey. it's very unlikely that I'll get to ten thousand responses, but I do still want to get close! thank you, and please stay tuned for more updates. I hope the final video will be worth the wait.
