Hello everyone.

It's been a little while for Octavius. I've had a lot of emotional issues to work through and to be honest, the considerable struggle I have had for a long time about simply putting myself online has escalated this year for reasons out of my control.

I've however been enjoying streaming on Twitch, although I know my OOC content isn't for everyone I find it much easier because I'm not subject to the toxicity I am when I cover retro games. I get it - it's the internet and there's always some dickhead, but as I have specific PTSD which can be triggered by one sexual assault-like comment this causes anxiety which puts my Octavius content to a real standstill.

The positive thing is the last time this happened I turned off my channel for a few months. This time, I felt strong enough not to.

Going forward I'm going to need to streamline my video creation at lot. I do this entirely alone and of course the Octavius channel is just one of my avenues of content creation, even if all avenues are often affected by my illness. I'm going to do that by concentrating on having fun with the character first and foremost. I don't think at this point anyone is watching Octavius to be educated lol.

I am writing this while in the middle of a considerable anxiety episode which has lasted since I exported this video four days ago. I think the video is finished, at this point if I wait for the anxiety to go away so I can check it one more time I won't give you guys a video for another month and I feel like you've waited long enough. There may be a few sound mixing issues though.

Thank you again for your support, and for how kind you all are. I think as content creation is a relatively new job - to the point where lots of people refuse to see it as work - many forget that the person making stuff at this small audience level are human beings with their own struggles and problems. I am very proud that the community my viewers have cultivated is one full of kind and empathetic people who support each other just as much as they do me.
