“We know little of your past, so it is hard to guess, but do you not regret allowing Bree to use you against the spider? I mean. Since hooking up with her you seem to have had nothing but bad luck. What with being rezed naked. Not that I'm complaining mind. Suffering shockwyrms. Attempted re-education. A lot of re-education. Disenchantment. As well as being swallowed by a giant fish, a snake, and being licked to within an inch of your sanity. Don't you just fear for what maybe to come? (evil laugh).”

MEB? What is it with humans and acronyms?

I suppose if I had less than a century to live, I might cut corners wherever possible as well…

In any case, you asked if I have any regrets. Regrets are for mortals. Enchantium knows no regrets. Enchantium is eternal. Enchantium knows only strength. Enchantium feels nothing. Enchantium… was so much easier to be.

I don’t know what I am anymore. I don’t know what I feel… what I am becoming.

How could I have any regrets?

Perhaps it would have been better to be stuck in that spider cave for another few centuries before someone more worthy came along to find me.

Someone to wield me with honor, to… use me.

Someone who would treat me like just another tool… an object… a means to an end.

Still, knowing what I know now, I have to admit that it would have been rather amusing to watch that rogue have all of her squishy bits slowly sucked dry by a thirsty arachnodaemon.
