Hello Everyone, Big Bug Found and Status on Update.

Hello everyone,

A very nice Patreon has pointed me to a problem that crashes the game, somehow a file has gone missing from the core game which causes a freeze early on. Absolutely no idea how this has happened but it has. 

This only concerns people who want to play from beginning to end, not the new content so don't worry if you don't want to play the entire game again!

To fix this, download this file and drop it into:

It SHOULD fix the problem. I think I need to do another full run of the game just to test things out if this has happened, as I've said I cannot think as to why this has happened.

The area that it affects is the yokai encounter.

I am currently working on the balancing of the current update, which I shall release tomorrow with the 'audio bug' fixed so if you download that version everything shall be pretty much fixed.

Another thing that I am doing is adding the 'stances' to Michael and Seiko, I was going to leave them and let the player gain them another way a bit later but tomorrow's update shall add them back.

I hope you've all enjoyed this part of the game and I shall have the patch out tomorrow!

Oh it's intense alright, I am playing the original release of v0.04 D (not Da or with a fix). Just a fun little obsession project, given that now I have a build that can face the ridiculous difficulty % (with this specific boss). I'm just curious how high I can push the difficulty, until it becomes wholly impossibruh (unless crit heaven)!

Good luck, I'm happy that it can still be a little tense, even when you have some extra levels. It's pretty satisfying when you get that clutch crit, or any crit in general.

I did it, even was overkill, Seiko landing 860 when its bar was fully drained already. Got a few lucky crits, including Seiko, best part.. on 4 again, not even jokin. Now it has become.. perhaps 125% or even 150%? It's all about them crits hehe

Nice, nice! Just wait until you get that perfect run with Seiko critting her 'jump' ability!

Got the boss also with 4 turns left and a party lev of 21 (Seiko 20), on 75% difficulty (in v0.04 D) *wind brushes hair in my victory pose* Think I'll try 100% I believe I have a good enough build for that, with luck.

The new version is now up, tell me what you think! If you still feel the TP gains need to upped I shall do it for the next update. The enemies are still a little bit of a challenge, but not party-wipe material anymore and the boss can be beaten (if fully prepared) at level 18 now and is quite comfortably beaten at lvl 20+ (at lvl 21 my team got him with 4 turns left).

You too huh? Had the same thing happen on 100% I was only able to beat a surviving heal slime because of two lucky crits in a row. The wretch healed itself from zero to Hero, each round it gained quite a bit more than I was able to dish out, unless critting constantly. I did not want to get stuck in that boring cycle ugh, quite a harrowing experience. #Survivor

I admit that i didn't expected that my party will be almost taken down by evil chicken on normal(100) difficulty. It's good that now Seiko is not permastun machine to use against bosses but i fell that TP gain was a bit nerfed a bit too much, but i will wait a bit more until you finish playing with those stances and check the result. Also, after balance changes i will replay this part once more (i'm fully serious when i say that one of those healing slimes that heal himself (or another) for 600 would almost lock me in fight if i didn't have mana (i abused this to stack some TP for boss fight) and next fights but it was long and quite boring process) I'm looking forward for next part of update (and changes).

Oh yeah, the roosters where a bish and I've yet to whoop the optional (yup, think it's impossibruh). Did do it all on 100% though, it truly felt like a Dark Souls game, I used every advantage I could think off haha I'll give my thoughts later, but I was very happy to be back in TLotK and had a Blast!
