January Sketchbook Scans!
Added 2022-01-31 21:21:57 +0000 UTCI tried some new stuff this month. Thanks to the new iPad and Procreate, I went back to my art school roots of drawing on toned paper. You'll see a few new grayscale sketches in this month's scans, and I'd really like to know what y'all think of 'em!

2022-02-01 19:04:19 +0000 UTCYet another lovely batch sketches, got to agree with mister O’Gara: the procreate grayscales the big feature this month! I’m very much hoping to see them here again. Makes awesome shading and subjects feel a lot more like physical things.

On to the part (I hope) you're waiting for... my (very) humble opinions on your most excellent works! I very much like the greyscale images you've painted in Procreate :) I myself prefer to work on a neutral canvas with charcoal and chalk, and these remind me very much of that style :D Beautiful work! I love the sense of mass and light and the enhanced 'curvature' of your ladies possible with the shading, as well as the use of light and shadow to bring out their eyes and other 'landmarks'. <3 The "Bonus" sketches are all great, it's lovely to see how they progress from sketch to colored art. BraShot is awesome, superb use of light and shadow, it really brings out her expression... and nipples. ;p CatCaught is great! :D I love that cute worried pussy... and so does he! ...good looking drider too. CowgirlSpin is cute and a bit worrying, as I've seen spiders do exactly that to flies... DragoMunch is so regal and fierce, and that girl is in so much peril! FinalDictation is fun, it makes me wonder what she's saying. GobTabled is a great angle on a lovely tableau, she's looking really into it... and he's clearly into her! <3 GobTime is a beautiful use of Procreate, really nice to see their eyes and musculature so clearly, it really makes their expressions clear. Lickup is wild and fun, love her skirt, and that tongue is amazing! Nutrient looks tasty, I have to wonder what exactly is cumming out the other end though... seems to be a bit 'flat' for eggs... larvae? Peded is insane! Nice dark background, a wildly evocative image, I have to imagine that'd feel crazy! Plastered is an interesting use of a tentacled backpack... have I seen that 'inventor/scientist' before? RaptorNibbles is great! Such a fun pose and composition, you seem to enjoy drawing this kind of interaction... and I love seeing it! <3 RescueAttempt tells a great, funny story all its own, those gnolls are working hard for that booty! TaurSized2 is so good! Both of them are loving it, and what a dynamic pose, straining and jiggling to take it all in! <3 Thank you very much for your responsive and artistic work! :D TrashMonster seems intent on taking out her trash... permanently! :o I really liked this month's sketches (as I like them all, of course) but the real stars here are the Procreate paintings. Assuming you enjoy them and they don't take *too* much extra time to draw, I'd love to see more of them in the future! :)
