Thoughts on the length of SCP-6500.
Added 2021-09-21 21:03:07 +0000 UTCAs I'm currently working on Part two of the SCP-6500 miniseries, I've gotten to the point in the script where I've finished the second path, the path of the mage. Shockingly however, the script right now is nearly the same length as the first video entirely, and I was planning on putting two paths in this part. The question I have then, is would people rather have part two be an hour and forty minutes long, or have two separate 50 minute videos. At the end, when I combine everything, it doesn't really matter, but separating the two now will make the whole project take up more weeks of uploads.
It also raises the concern of how long exactly this will be in its entirety, if each path is taking up an hour of content. Part of me is inclined to summarize a bit more than normal, cutting out sections of text, but I hate to do that as I feel it does an injustice to the original work. I'm curious on people's thoughts.

The part about cutting stuff out was not really a consideration, as I try not to do that ever. In the end, I went with having the second video be just on the second path.
