2022-04-26 07:26:18 +0000 UTCDoesn’t anyone want to take a break from the cosmic horrors of life, the ever impending doom of humanity that ever hangs in the balance, its pendulum swinging slowly, back and forth, its gong of tribulation and pestilence coming ever nearer — don’t they just want to relax, and appreciate the little things, like the little pretty sparrow, slowly preening its delicate plumage? Or listen happily to SCP-4975’s tick-tock, tick-tock as it stalks its prey and then delivers the death blow with its powerful beak, seizing another hapless victim? Why don’t they unwind and watch as SCP-659 collects into a group and gains sentience, unleashing destruction on who ever they come as in their bid for freedom? And how could we ever forget poor little Timmy, the unfortunate soul of a (perhaps) innocent boy forever trapped in the body of a bird? There are many little pleasures that bird SCPs can bring to the table, and I only listed of few of the large catalog of birds the Wiki has to offer. So, I ask, you will learn to enjoy the little things in life? Or will you forever clamor for more cosmic ending threats, growing more numb each day to the sweet chirps that these innocent little birds deliver to our ears? The choice is yours. Choose carefully.
