The Story of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Awoken (ARR Patch Quests)
Added 2024-01-13 03:21:34 +0000 UTCWell, there it is. This took many, many hours to put together, so I hope FFXIV fans enjoy it. I'm really not sure if I want to do any more FFXIV content, especially without an editor, but I guess we'll see how this one performs.
When I started recording the footage for this a year and a half ago, I was using an ultrawide monitor, so that's how I had to record the whole thing. I think it looks okay, although I didn't realize there was a mod that extended cutscenes to 21:9 until partway through.

There's not really a big reset, it's just that the latest expansion ended this entire storyline, while the next expansion will start a fresh one. My first video covered the story of A Realm Reborn, which is the level 1-50 content, and this one covers the story between the end of ARR and the start of the first expansion. If you're planning on playing through the story yourself, you may as well just do that rather than watch the videos, but it's up to you.
