And, FOR THE RECORD, I completely support the women who use this platform as a way to support their children while in terrible situations, get out of marriages, try to create financial stability for themselves, and use this as a springboard to greater things. I ACCEPT that these women are NOT the Gloria Steinems of our day just like I'm not always so great for my own gender. But this is getting CRAZY now!

2019-01-17 23:01:31 +0000 UTCSH*%#T!!!! Everytime I give RHONJ a chance I regret it. WHY do the RHONJ think that they can make their own rules as to what people can say? And WHY do they INSIST that their poor behavior is somehow cultural? I've known Italians who do NOT fist fight their family, refer to women as 'good pussy', are not ignorant, do not commit white collar crime, or are not openly sexist and PROUD of it. I'm of mixed race. I could TECHNICALLY claim MOST horrible behaviors and say that it's of my "culture". I'm Scots Irish, German, English, Bajan, and African American. Can I be an alcoholic, violent, stubborn, Anti Semitic, Colonialist who owns slaves who say 'Hey Mon' and lay out in the sun? Because THOSE are the WORST stereotypes about my culture. AND, you know what, I don't have any children (I've actually been mocked TO MY FACE by distant family members who started breeding at age 17 for not having any as if it's DIFFICULT to lay there & get knocked up by randoms like a stray cat) but I can understand how these women want to protect their children making them "off limits" in arguments. BUT, as Ronnie so BRILLIANTLY pointed out, these people are putting their children, husbands, marriages, homes, divorces, etc. on television. THEY are putting their children in the lion's den and expecting them not to be maimed! It is RIDICULOUS to think that no one is going to say anything disparaging. You don't get to BROADCAST and then try to control others when they try to talk about what they see. They sold the protection that privacy brings for the paychecks they receive & the platform to make tons of money. Take some responsibility! You can't have it both ways!
