There are some amazing people from here...the Ramones, Ruth Bader Ginsberg, Martin Scorsese, Nene Leakes (look it up) but Tommy is the most authentic. He's the super in my building who repaints the lobby every year but has kept the same furniture down there since atleast 1991. He is the doorman who neither announces guests nor opens the actual door for anyone but stands there on ready anyhow. He's the pizza delivery guy who thinks it's ok to hit on you as he delivers your food while you stand in the doorway in pajamas. He's scrappy but sincere & ultimately harmless. He's the NY native who is a 15 minute drive from a fashion capital of the world that houses 800 restaurants but shops at the mall & eats Italian food at The Olive Garden & orders Papa John's pizza (TRUE STORIES). Tommy is... Tommy is the NY Mets. The NY Mets have won the World Series only TWICE in about 50 years of existence but SOMEHOW they have loyal fans and got funding for a new, state of the art stadium that serves kobe burgers & sushi. If you only had 2 productive days out of 50 at your job, wouldn't you get fired? Defies logic & reason. Fucking Queens. Oh well. Enjoy LA, Tommy & MJ. And God bless them & their family.
