here are some doodles from yesterday 🖤 the boys with moths~ Noah got surprised mid-cleaning!
Something I spend a lot of time on is to find out what they do and what they don't do as spirits. They share some traits and mannerisms with animals, but they aren't animals, so I have a lot of fun to explore the possibilities and find out what actually makes sense for them!

Noah likes to take baths in rivers, he loves to play in rain, and he cleans his fur often! He soaks up sunlight and takes literal sunbaths (because that's how he gets most of his energy, just like a plant 🌿) He also grooms Robin out of affection, even though Robin doesn't need to be cleaned. Robin uses the rain to feel refreshed, and during rain and afterwards he smells like petrichor (which Noah loves and he can't get enough of it... catnip for little spirits). Robin likes to roll around in dust sometimes though, because his feather-fur is very dense and soft and that way he can keep it shiny. A bit like how horses do OR how chinchilla's take dust baths to clean themselves!

Also, a few days ago someone asked me what kind of animal Robin is and I think they meant what his body is inspired by. His body's anatomy is a mixture between wolf, ibex, and horse! And for his feather-fur... we just add a touch of bird. A robin if you will..... i'll see myself out 🐤
