now we are one layer deeper into the closed area~ Noah really wants to show Robin those damn red flowers..... (maybe one day he will be able to? 🌸)
It was super fun to draw, and I think my favorite panel is the one with the reflection. Ever since I had that nightmare (the one I turned into “Ghost Lights”) I remember the color of the water vividly. It’s one of the most prominent elements I can remember, together with how heavy the fog / haze / smoke felt in their lungs, the strange lights in the trees and the contrast of the red flower field with the dead environment.

I am LATE! But MAN OH MAN!! It’s the lights in the trees, just like in your first concept! He’s really getting down to the nitty gritty stuff now, about what’s not making sense about that place…. I can’t wait to see how he handles (or doesn’t 😬) everything that’s to come!! 🤩
