I want to start the year with something fun~ kan showed me a website (artbreeder, maybe you've heard of it before) where you can merge images to create something new and asked me to do Robin and Noah!
I'm pretty happy with how they turned out ๐ I couldn't quite get their current hairstyles right (because they both have the most impossible hair let's be honest), but otherwise it's very close to how I imagine them to look like. Robin would maybe look a little softer even~
When I imagine scenes with them I usually see them in a pretty realistic way, like real humans with a touch of my own art-style, if that makes sense! I can see their expressions in a clear way, too, and they're just very vivid in general. Same goes for the scenery, it all looks like a high budget movie in my head kinda.
I'd love to know how you imagine your own OCs? Do you imagine them like real humans (or creatures, animals), or more like... stylized? Also if you do or have done your OCs in artbreeder, please show me!! I really want to see them
Ahh ;; tbh I missed actually talking about the story and the characters. I haven't really talked about my boys with anyone while on hiatus. I mentioned them to my partner a few times, but I mostly just kept them to myself. It was really needed, just plotting and having fun by myself like I did in the early stages of working on the story. It helped me a lot. But I notice how much I miss sharing little things of my OCs with another person from time to time.

I wish I could imagine characters that vividly ๐ I have that thing I think it's called aphantasia? where you can't see pictures in your head, or do see pictures but not clearly (the video I watched about it had you visualize an apple, with 0 being nothing and 10 being so vivid it looked like a photograph, I scored like a 2 or 3). When I draw I pretty much have to just adjust the sketch until it looks how I want. I'll have to give Kan's website idea a try! ๐
