2020-11-13 06:26:39 +0000 UTCRight, that's what I was going to say, Eve was just doing what was asked of her, besides that is putting her in an awkward position, if she did that then she risked both parents being upset with her - Then neither of them would have been able to say gnite to Dean and then Ashley would have been upset. Not that i think that is reasonable, per se but that's likely what would have happened.

She traveled a lot for work so I’m not sure if she tried to make sure her husband was the one to put the kids to bed or if it was the nanny when she was out of town. I remember once wanting to see her baby and it was 6:50 pm and she said no because seeing me would make him too excited to fall asleep at 7 pm.

2020-11-10 03:03:04 +0000 UTCBen you are absolutely right—Eve could have just put the baby to sleep, but here’s the “mom” thing: Eve waited because the agreement was that Michael would put him to bed, and she knew that was what Ashley her friend wanted, and also Michael probably pretended that he truly wanted to be home at 7 to put him down, so Eve was hoping he’d be home any minute and didn’t want Michael to miss that experience and/ or be disappointed with Eve. Also from Ashley’s perspective, it was a big deal because Michael probably never spends any time with the baby, so it meant a lot to her that he be home to put him to bed. And also the strippers, etc added to her worries and upset.
