Chord Stacks!

Good day fellow Patrons, I've got an exciting upload for you today which I hope is super useful for you!

Chord stacks were the bane of my f*#%king existence for so long. No one showed me how to do it or what I should be doing to make these sound even half good. So after a shit ton of trial and error I started to figure it out. With a little advice here and there from some peers I've started to mold my own sort of sound with these. This is very much my own version and undertaking of synth stacking but I hope the philosophy is useful for you to run with and do your own thing.

Much love and thank u for something to my ted talk.

Feel free to tell your friends about this Patreon too x

this is amazing!

Hey Blanke! Recent supporter here :) I noticed you didn't have a ton of EQ or mixing type processing yet (or maybe at all!). What kind of mixing would you be doing on all these layers? Thanks so much for the insight.

Saturate with something like Saturn. And drive that bitch. Haha

hi brent hehe

Thanks a lot for sharing! Could you do a followup one where you talk about how you're voicing your chords and show where in the frequency spectrum your basses, main chord layers, and leads are occupying?

awesome video. I'm so curious about that final effect bar effect out. I struggle with those effect / transition bars. Also, what is doing your volume cuts? (besides the SC)

Loved this tutorial!

Loved this video! Was wondering though what you do to process your sub bass? Right now I put nothing on mine, but I know others do process their sub to make it a lot more powerful

I love how you just drop your "starter pack" rack on almost everything and right off the bat everything just shine in one instant

oop it fully cocks out there! might have to fix that haha. thanks

As someone who’s looking to make melodic music, I was meaning to ask about this. Loving the content man!

Not sure if it's just my computer but there seems to be an audio problem around 14:55, it cuts out and then I can slightly hear your voice delayed in my left headphone. Love the video tho, can't wait to try these tips out!!
