I'm a big fan of reading so I thought I'd share a book with you guys that I found super helpful. I've read it over 3 times I love it so much. It's called The Music Lesson by Victor Wooten, and its a more philosophical book rather than a technical one which I love. I got a whole lot of out it. From switching my perspective to how I think about music, to approaching it (or "her" as you'll read) differently, more gently and with a more open mind. It showed me how powerful she really is. I cant say enough about it.
Highly recommend it. If you guys have any books you found useful and would like to share PLEASE DO!!

2020-12-17 17:26:56 +0000 UTCThe Power of Now by Ekhart Tolle Can't Hurt Me by David Goggins Mindset by Carol Dweck The Artists Way by Julia Cameron All of the above are really solid books that can also help you with some of the issues you can run into as a producer. Also, Pillow Thoughts by Courtney Peppernell. Its more of a spoken word, poetry type thing, but it has a legend that you can reference for specific moods or issues and find a section to read through to help with those thoughts.
