Coming at you with a new video. Mixing and mastering but this time we are going in with the heavier stuff.
If you haven't watched the Melodic mixing and mastering vid i suggest you view that as well as there are a lot of cross overs and some aspects i dive deeper into in the melodic mixing video.

Thanks for putting this together! Noticed you only sidechain the sub against the kick, any reason you don't also sidechain against the snare?

2023-02-17 19:40:30 +0000 UTCSo this is used as a sidechain bypass and also just the kick and snare and has super minimal processing on it. i think its only got a utility pushing it +4db so i found i was typically leveling the kick and snare pretty high. def no top secrets here haha. its just whats worked for me! as its minimal processing i would still probably use it if i was outsourcing.

Is there anything on it during this video? Is it top secret? ;p Would you recommend leveling the same way if you outsource your mastering? and just keep off the master limiters/clippers?
