Obviously I can't change his name and he's a wonderful kid, but I've always remembered and been scarred by Ben's story about Ethan the hand breaker. (Every little boy named Ethan I've ever known has been a total shit!) Luckily my Ethan seems to have broke that mold.

I’m still paying off hospital bills. Random ones just keep showing up. Take care of yourselves. I am turning 40 next month. Officially at the age where if you sneeze funny you throw your back out for a couple of days 😂😂

2023-04-09 23:51:36 +0000 UTCI'm in Colorado and TBH it's the best insurance I've ever had, and I'm from California. This was my first experience with them and had heard horrible things but I seriously miss them daily. But I also have 2 kids with serious health and mental health issues. I will say, his experience getting in to see a specialist is similar to mine as well, but if you're in serious need they'll get you in or put you on a cancellation list to call. My oldest is on the autism spectrum and Kaiser literally assigned him his own nurse I could call for any reason necessary. Moving away from them I feel so lost and there are so many layers and approval processes I'm completely overwhelmed. I'm sorry you had such a bad experience!

Regular insurance is awful. Horrible. Awful. And, I'll bet that thing under your eye is a milia. I watch too much Dr Pimple popper!

We’re going to have to put our dog, Penny down this week and I’m so grateful for you guys because the podcast that will help me through it. Penny is just a dog to some people, but to me, she’s my baby. She’s a boxer, so she believes she is person, too.

Adults always fist bump kids and it's always light, this kid purposely hit you hard. Did you say anything because I would've made a scene like your kid really hit me and it hurts. You need to do something about him, I'm not going to be quiet about it, your kid is a monster.

My husband has the same issue, and I feel like the most nagging wife, making him eat clean and making him take his bp meds. Ben, I’ve never noticed your white bump, but as a long-time esthetician, it SOUNDS like a milia, which is just a very stubborn whitehead. The thing about milia around the eyes is they have this little seed, and is more difficult to remove. A dermatologist is your absolute best bet, but honestly, you can remove it yourself. You just need a sterilized needle to open the skin covering and after a nice hot steam in the shower, you can hopefully gently coax it out with as little pressure possible. (The main reason someone will say to go to a dermatologist is to not risk breaking a blood vessel, so gentle is key.)

I went to a clinic for a UTI, the np took my vitals and tested and was all “yeah it’s a UTI but your bp is so high can you go to the ER right now?” And I was like “I feel fine!” She wanted to call an ambulance! So I begrudgingly had my boyf take me and it wasn’t as high as yours Ronnie! Luckily I was also blessed by having my intake NP be my high school bestie’s Mom! She knew me and was able to kind of talk to me like a person and that I would probably have a stroke if I didn’t get on meds. So I’ve been on them ever since, get blood work done yearly and have no other issues. I’m just trying to get on that Oz train if you know what I’m sayin 🤣 so glad your parents made you go and it should be smooth sailin for you too. Love y’all! Oh and is anyone on watertok? I am obsessed and will try those potions to get me off of Diet Sodies.

2023-04-07 20:09:58 +0000 UTCI have to tell you that I fell over a plant container outside of my sister's house on Christmas and 2 days later lifted my leg in the shower to wash my foot and something in my back snapped. Read online that it could take 2-3 weeks to heal. Almost 4 weeks later, still in terrible pain, I finally saw a doctor who put me on steroids and Gabapentin. Less than 24 hours later on the steroids, I felt like 85% better!!! So literally, I feel your pain! Stay the course. I am trying to get healthier as well. XXOXXO
