I think because they’re ubiquitous people don’t really think about them. And then when you do you’re like 😍

For funsies, I looked at the Kia Telluride. It was nicer than the BMW. I bought it and I love it. I decided on matte gray with black wheels and panoramic double moon roof. 😎My neighbor even bought a new Kia Sportage the same color as my Telluride because she liked it so much. Drive the Kia, Ben!

2023-02-11 12:36:04 +0000 UTCBen! I got a new charcoal grey 2020 KIA Niro Hybrid EX Premium (Canada) when my old car finally konked out. 2.5 years in and I’m really happy still. I leased with the intention of eventually trading it in for the plugin or electric version but right now I’m leaning towards just buying it instead. My old car was a sedan and I wanted a hatchback so I could fit my bike but didn’t want an SUV, too much car for one person, and the Niro ticked all the boxes. I read the head designer of Audi went to KIA so that explains why the quality/design leveled up. Getting used to a hybrid has been pretty cool, you learn how to drive more efficiently and it almost becomes a game. It’s a 45 litre tank and depending on the conditions, I can get 800-1000kms, which means I fill up maybe once a month. I definitely recommend getting a hybrid, plugin or electric in whatever you decide. I named mine Roberta. Roberta De Niro.

Also, as a tennis fan even more than a Bravo fan I'll just say that Rafa is a Kia spokesperson, has been for years. So they must be fantastico :)

An auto mechanic friend warned me off of Kia bc they look good but the quality is not good, and now I agree. The interior texture is weird. Mine is not actual leather and it stains so easily. Hard to clean. It also scratches easily, too. The paint is very thin. I give the car a side eye and it scratches. The panoramic sunroof broke twice and now I don’t open it. I’m so sorry to share not so great things that I was warned about, but I didn’t listen. I want the best for you, my friend in my head. I like the remodeled Kias and I think they look great. This is just my experience & they could’ve improved since ‘18. If you love it, get it and enjoy it!

2023-02-11 03:30:57 +0000 UTCMy two cents - do not trade your Subaru for a Kia! Subarus are such great cars and hold their value…I feel like after a year or two you might really regret the decision when little ticky tack stuff starts falling apart in the Kia. That’s just my OPINION!

2023-02-11 03:30:45 +0000 UTCI haven't listened yet but, I had a Kia Sportage that was stolen and completely totaled 2 years ago, one of apparently a rash of Kia and Hyundai thefts. They are apparently very easy to steal, and some insurers won't insure them anymore. I now have a Buick Encore that I love and would highly recommend. If you do ultimately decide to buy a Kia, I recommend buying The Club, too.
