#2044 PumpRules: Credibility Is Dipping Out

So when I found out that the DC show was doing Vanderpump, I was initially less than enthused, but after listening to this AND doing my own Scandoval research, I’m ALL in baby! I was crying with laughter listening to this and it is going to be raucous at the Lincoln Theater. Absolutely NO dipping out here!

I’d love to hear thoughts on how you’d like this show to be filmed moving forward? I heard there is a firm line from Ariana that if Tom and Rachel are on she won’t be on the show. This just a rumor? Will Katie and sandwiches be enough for a spin off with her?

Also I think when the cast was filming they thought the finale would be Scheana’s wedding… then when Rachel and Schwartz kissed production wanted to catch the aftermath and brought cameras back up for a few more weeks. The party at SUR at next week’s episode was the original finale when filming ended, pre-Scandoval.

This is what I think (after I put too much thought into this): Lala WAS suspicious that Sandoval had a big ol' crush on Raquel and something wasn't quite kosher. She has said that. But then cameras stopped rolling in September. By all accounts the Scandoval had not really started rolling along at that point. The bulk of the affair was through the fall and into the Spring. The cast isn't together that much when they aren't filming, particularly Tom Sandoval who was at Schwartz's & Sandy's +" touring" w/ his band. Ariana was still grieving + they have a whole separate "real" friend group + Tom and Ari started therapy together around this time. Whatever suspicions that had been aroused during filming got swept under the rug because it was just that: a suspicion that Raquel is silly when she drinks, Sandoval has a crush on Raquel, and the cracks in T and A's relationship finally got aired a little during the filming. It wasn't that serious...until it was. Also I, 1000% think that Ariana was completely behind all of the early press about the story to humiliate & embarrass Tom. She knew exactly how to hurt him by killing his image (which totally worked btw. ) She agreed to filming post Scandoval because she knew she was winning, which she has.
