I was so dependent on both Instacart and Doordash, I finally had to force myself to face how much money I was wasting on them. A few months back I went to Costco and looked at the shopping cart inside the IC app and noticed as I shopped in person, the prices for every item were $3-$6 more through the app! To feed a family of five, with three kids who apparently have a hollow leg each, I almost DIED at the realization! (Though, I will say, Walmart keeps their pricing the same, so I will still use that one just so I don’t actually ever have to go to Walmart *shudder*) Ben, I’m going to google that ice cream cake idea because (speaking of premiums) I’ve always painstakingly made ALL my children’s birthday cakes, and YET, as they get older they have mentioned they would rather a Baskin Robbins cake. I can’t believe how expensive those are, so thank you once again for another great suggestion!

I also use to catch onto shows after they're over. I binged The Sopranos after they were over, I binged Six Feet Under, Breaking Bad. The Wire I caught on S4 but I watched the rest after. Now Ben though, you cannot watch the 1st couple seasons of Breaking Bad and not finish it, that's blasphemy. lol

The other one is from Arash Hashemi @shredhappens. He does recipes that are meat, fish & poultry, but also does veggie dishes too. I love his food. Being Iranian, he uses spices together that blend in beautifully. He’s also a TJoes junkie, so he picks up spices there too. TJ’s Chile Lime seasoning is a party in your mouth! He makes a zucchini recipe (I know I know) that is to die for Pillowy Mediterranean Zucchini dated April 27 I bet that would be good with eggplant as well. The kicker is his sauce: Greek yogurt, feta, garlic, mint, juice & zest of a lemon, salt & pepper. Whirl it in a mini food processor. It is SO good! He uses a lot of sumac and za’atar too Check them out!

I don’t know what the middle way is, but I like Dr. Karla Lester on TikTok @imecommunity. She is anti-diet culture and mentioned restriction leading to binging. I don’t know, but she’s cool and I like learning from her. Love you both so much just as you are, always!
