Happy to hear I wasn't the only one. Succession wrapped up much better and I also agree this season wasn't that engaging without Logan. Satisfied how this show ended. Thanks for covering it!

2023-06-02 03:25:22 +0000 UTCWe're meant (encouraged!) to hate Kendall, Shiv and Roman. They are terrible people as a result of physical and emotional abuse from their father. None of them had principles. You might recal Shiv telling Tom, just after exchanging wedding vows, that she wanted to have an open marriage. You can see him break into pieces in that moment. They're all nightmares but it was a fantastic, darkly funny, and mostly deeply dramatic show. Just wanted to weigh in because you're sounding like you hate these people as though you're not supposed to hate them. It's been such a week of opinions and I am now done. Love you guys :) (Oh, in the bar at the end Roman ordered a martini - Gerri's drink. In a VERY creepy way, she was who he loved.)

2023-06-01 03:36:04 +0000 UTCIf you watch the Succession interviews w Jesse Armstrong at the end of each show, the point is that these kids were totally inept and incapable of handling the job, and that the series is a tragedy. I love that Tom won the CEO position, as much as I can love anything in this painful show. Agree, there’s no one happy. Shiv betrayed/ let down by every man in her life.
