THANK YOU for being part of the only handful of podcasters who are recapping Vanderpump Rules for what it is. Yes, Sandoval is disgusting and did a terrible thing but that doesn’t excuse what a nightmare James Kennedy is. And I love James and have always rooted for him (and I probably still will) but it’s getting really annoying that the cast is lying and rewriting history just because they all want to jump on Sandoval. this is a group of horrible people. No one is a winner. I’m happy it’s wrapping up next week, but I will always listen to your recaps because you make it exciting 😭 (I also can’t stand Lala or Katie, so I always love Ronnie’s perspective 😇)

She has no feelings regarding anything, She was just so stone- cold, no emotion, no reaction to anything. There's no way a normal person would be so nonchalant in that trailer just listening to ppl basically talk shit about you. At least Sandoval was getting irate, she was just straight faced the entire time. I was actually fascinated by her non response to everything. Also, your point about James being abusive and no one calling him out. They all like James so they don't really care what he does, this was the dog on Sandoval hour, that's what they cared about.

2023-06-02 01:40:38 +0000 UTCNot to play armchair psychiatrist/neurologist, and not to excuse what she did, but there are many indicators that Raquel might be neurodivergent (adhd inattentive type, or low support needs autism, or both. So all the ways people find her weird, or can’t really get a read on her may be partially explained by that possibility. Then combined with not being especially intelligent and taking way too many drugs, it makes for a very unfortunate situation, and all the cast members might just be piling on to a person who has some very real issues going on. In any case, she’s obviously very easily led, and she did a really shitty thing to people who were very supportive of her, which is awful. The whole situation is very dark, and it’s kind of not fun anymore, but I still love this podcast and especially enjoy the Tom bashing. (And I agree with you that James is getting let off the hook for being abusive and abrasive toward everyone around him, including Raquel).

How was your chicken??” If I hear Lala say triggered one more time, I will scream and my shoulders swallowed my head when Shartz pulled out his coin purse and called it his prescription. Also, I don’t know who I hate more: this cast for sharing convenient narratives or myself for eating this shit up with a spoon.
