Algarve is beyond laid back vibe, they just looked too dressed up. The Kenya going to hospital, I bet she didnโt consider Portuguese hospitals are free, cause of national health care, and Portugal is a poor European country. Algarve has 2 hospitals for the entire region, Monyetta saying Kenya was VIP, there just isnโt such a thing ๐ a friend of mine was in labour and cause the baby was premature and needed incubation, and due to lack of incubators, they kept the baby in. I had never heard of such a thing. Waiting list to be born! So yeah, not happening. For anything better she would have to go to Lisbon, which is 3-4 hour drive away. Just the reality of a poor southern European country, and free healthcare. Plus Portugal has a long history of disliking prominent figures so to speak and we donโt bow for anyone. Julius Cesar used to say the Lusitans are a people who not only do not govern, but they donโt anyone govern over them. Madonna tried to be all A list in Portugal when she pretended to move there, and she was humbled fast when she realised we would treat her just like anyone else. Anyway. Love seeing them going to the market, itโs such a Portuguese experience. All the fresh fish, produceโฆ ๐miss my country, miss my home. Just wish there were more industries other than tourism ๐ EDIT TO ADD: one โrelevantโ thought from the episode was, Iโm convinced Courtney is there as agent for Ralph. I think he already knew he was going to divorce Drew and somehow made Drew pitch Courtney for the show, so she could keep tabs on Drew at all times. Like a human spy camera. I suspect Courtney was sending daily reports back to Atlanta
