2023-08-10 18:31:13 +0000 UTCThis episode confronted so many emotions I wasn’t expecting. Like what it means to just be a woman trying to navigate in this world. I’m so used to being on high alert every time I leave the house that I don’t even realize on a regular basis how fucked up that actually is. Even when your friend is actively trying to protect you, these scumbags can still slip through the cracks. It took him literally 2 seconds after the power went out to clock “those cameras in the room are probably down too” and then reversed right to her room. It’s horrifying

This was a really powerful episode of TV - a great example of leadership & a great example of rallying around a friend who's in a bad situation. I have to wonder if someone on this episode is a part of the lawsuit against Bravo & that's why they aren't talking about it.

Not one of their posts or stories in the last several days has been even about below deck at all. Like I really don’t even understand why they produced the show, because, like you said the other day, they don’t promote it at all! Like we talk about it online, but the general bravo universe doesn’t dissect below deck because they get their PR pitches and their click momentum about stories from bravo themselves! Why would bravo while black go and do an episode about below deck when they want to promote all of the things that bravo is promoting so they get as many clicks? Because bravo ignores it that means that the entire bravo ecosystem ignores it except those of us who have created a community to discuss it. It just doesn’t make any sense. It’s like when they used to not do reunions…? Like is this isn’t fucking TLC it’s a bravo reality show! Either produced the show, promote it, and provide a reunion, or fucking don’t. Pick one.

2023-08-09 01:37:06 +0000 UTCBtw you guys were asking what Laura posted, before she turned her insta private, she did a post half arsed apologising to Adam and Margot as a total aide add on, saying something along the lines she was 28 when this happened and she’s now 30 so she knows better, all very PR for dummies post, cause in the comments she was still saying there was no abuse, and people were pointing out to her that was cause cameras were there, so not much hope or signs of growth there. M Edit to add: she had on her highlighted stories, her doing some sort of mini press tour going on fox 5 with those guests who jumped off board, the guy at least was with her, seems they became friends. Knowing now that this happened and see her try to milk this for all its worth brings a new layer of awfulness 🤮
