Yes, that’s a perfect analogy, and I agree, nurse practitioners are amazing!!!!

I can’t believe Garcelle is getting away with this “attack” crap! Nobody wants to be accused of attacking anyone verbally or physically regardless of color. We all say things in our friend groups that we wouldn’t say to a stranger! “Calm down”, “keep your voice down”, “STFU”, “stop attacking the waiter”😁 These ladies know each other! She’s not telling a stranger they’re attacking her! Garcelle is such a hypocrite, she wants to act like she’s being spoken to back on the block, yet then go on about her wealth and stature! She sucks as a friend, she’s crazy jealous of everyone! She also tells Dorit she should know what “attack” is, because of her break in, then, in the preview she’s questioning the break in! 🙄

As a recovery room nurse at a hospital where we do major surgeries, the CRNAs (the nurses) and the MD (doctors) DO THE EXACT SAME THING. They interchange in the OR for lunch breaks. They anesthetize the SAME patients. They give the SAME medications. So in her argument, they really are the same thing except they’re much cheaper for the hospital. BUT she does carry the argument a little too long but I also think she’s defensive because they keep attacking a profession they know NOTHING about. And if crystals sister would tell her anything, she would tell her they do the same thing too. Side note, I work with both professions daily and for 9 years.

As a nurse- her making this a whole thing actually furthers the divide between doctors and nurses. I’m so embarrassed that at bravocon (before knowing anything about her except that she was a CRNA) I told her I was a nurse and we high fived. She would be doing more for the profession if she proudly talked about being a nurse and a CRNA, which is undoubtedly one of the hardest degrees in the profession!

She was on Heather McDonald’s Juicy Scoop podcast the other day and she said she is technically a doctor because she has a masters degree. She totally blurs the lines!

After hearing this damn nurse anesthetist argument for the upteenth time, I had an epiphany: Are NA's like nurse practitioners who provide primary care (I see one as my primary care provider because I like their bedside manner way better than most MD's) and can prescribe drugs? And it turns out they are! I even found a webpage from Regis College that explains an NA has the same privileges as an NP, but while NP's treat a broad range of issues, NA's specialize in anesthesia. So, it seems like what's her buns may be telling the truth when she says they do the same things as doctors, but get paid less. I literally have an NP as my primary care provider on my insurance card. And if someone has the legal right to prescribe drugs, they are pretty much on the level of doctor, in my opinion. She's not on the level of a SURGEON, but neither is an anesthesiologist. 🤷🏽‍♀️ https://online.regiscollege.edu/blog/comparing-career-tracks-nurse-practitioner-vs-nurse-anesthetist/
