December 2025 Status Report

December progressed well, even if it practically flew by. Implementing the manticore CG led to me finding a number of bugs that needed fixing, and which were relevant not only to her, but also to the Trisha and Venefica fights, as well as to the damage display not always working properly during combat events. These have all been fixed, along with some other reported issues related to both bugs and typos.

Alongside the manticore CG, proper backgrounds have been added to both Kotone's Room and the Labyrinth, both of which have some variations, with the Labyrinth's being especially distinct.

Progress has also been made by Val on the continuation of the Minoni arc this month, though that won't be ready for v27.3.

Otherwise, most of this month's work was dedicated to adding a new character to the Aphrodesia District (featuring another of Otani's remaining character arts), and to creating a specific function for the game related to said character, which will hopefully not make anything explode. Based on testing, it won't, but can never be too sure with this one. 

The writing for said new character's scenes has definitely ended up fairly dense in word count, mainly for the sake of properly evoking the fetish she's focused on. I'm sure people will enjoy her, even if she's a bit niche.

There's still some scenes to write and testing to be done, but she's otherwise almost ready for launch, so the update might be out this weekend, barring something exploding or some grave bug getting found and needing to get ironed out.

I also took some vacation days with the holidays to rest and relax. Without that, I could have probably had the update ready for the end of month, but time off in December is important.

Honestly, I have a lot of other content ideas for this new character, but I'm going to hold back on working on them for now so it doesn't spiral into a whole thing.
