Most of you guessed: Demian's first reaction is not to believe that's true. He knows Izumi, he knows how hard it was for Izumi to accept their first kiss, so this makes absolutely no sense in his head. But the image is what it is (Izumi placing his hands on Eiji's cheeks and them kissing), so Demian is not 100% sure he's right in his assumption. On the other hand, Izumi's main concern all along was how to explain to Demian that he did nothing when it happened, and now he's also facing the fear of not having told Demian first, so if "I did nothing" was hard for him to explain, now he has to explain "I did nothing and I didn't even tell you", which is twice as hard. CONCLUSION: it's always best to talk things over before the ball grows bigger, but I think we all know that except for nerd boy (=w=;
