When he thought Nazka was dying, he understood his mom for the first time and got really scared that he might follow her steps if he got involved with anyone the way he was getting involved with Nazka (reminder: Todd's mom committed suicide after being betrayed by her partner).
And now I'm going to a con for the weekend, so next chapter will take a bit longer. But! I already programmed the monthly R18 scene for next Monday, which covers the first time Nazka and Todd have sex (it happens after the scene at the lake). It'll be available for Patrons on the 5โฌ tier (if you're on the old, unpublished 3โฌ tier, you need to update to the 5โฌ tier to see it, but you can stay on that tier if you only want to read the comic because that will forever be available with your current tier (^^)b )
