Background: Queensland was a land that used to be inhabited by a bunch of homesteaders. Homesteaders are a bunch of people that go out to settle large swathes of lands in order to raise crops and and a family. A place they can call home, hence the term homesteaders. There were a large number of families that took the uninhabited land and started making it their own.

People started planting their roots and families began to pop up all over the area, at least until an ambitious man known as Dan Cunningham set his eyes on the place. He gathered up a bunch of likeminded men who wanted to start their own den of vice and pleasure in this gods forsaken land. Dan and his men began to go from place to place, scarring homesteaders and attempting to chase them out of the territory.

The long campaign of harassment began by Dan and his men poisoning water supplies as well as their land which rendered it infertile. Those homesteaders that took a stand against Dan ended up dead. Their personal belongings and things were fenced off and slowly but surely Dan began to amass a great deal of wealth off of the backs of the homesteaders. All calls for help to Reach fell on deaf ears. There were no signal towers out in the territory, and most of the homesteaders lived on remote patches of land.

After a significant spot was cleared out, Dan created one of the first gambling dens he called “The High Roller”. People from all over flocked to this casino, and soon enough a town began to pop up around this place, christened High-Roller Haven in honor of the first casino Dan had built. Once he saw the success of the High-Roller, he began to spread his campaign of harassing the homesteaders until he drove the last one out.

Other cities with casinos and the like were put up. Dan looked to growing his own fields of Tabacco and other such necessities for brewing, but his long campaign against the homesteaders poisoned the land, making it infertile. He turned to his neighbor and began trading with him for all the things he needed. After a few years Dan lived like a King as well as every man in his group. They were all wealthy and started bringing in tailors to make their brand of clothing to showcase their wealth.

Suits made of fine rare fabrics, jewelry made of precious metals, and many assortments of fashions were showcased in this territory. Dan gained the nickname “Dapper Dan” for how he dressed and carried himself. He set the precedence for every man in his gang. A code to live by a mindset that their path was the right one. Pretty soon, other territories believed them to be a gang of assholes.

When his neighboring territory was suddenly taken over by Josephine, he looked to expand once more and went into a full on war with the leader. Though eventually he pulled his men back. Years of fighting the homesteaders and now The Garden caused his mens numbers to thin. So he hedged his bets and bides his time for a moment to set out on another venture, all while attaining as much wealth as possible.

Lesser Cities: Silver Fountain, Elysium, Lavender Bastille, Gentleman’s Landing

Silver Fountain: This city is yet another city named after a Casino that was put up in Dapper Dan’s expansion. The city is more or less for the less wealthy that visit the territory. The other cities will have higher prices, but the poor and unwanteds will flock to this place to spend what money they have in hopes of winning big. Because the city caters to those who do not have a whole lot to spend, it is not as extravagant as the other cities. It’s an “Everyman’s” City.

Elysium: This city is known for having the variety of earthly pleasures; Food, drink, and women/men. People who are unable to pay off their debts to the casino usually end up working here as manual labor or in the pleasure houses. This city also caters to a lot of recreational drugs, which lead a lot of people to believe they really were in Elysium. An all in one casino is being constructed here that combines a brothel, casino, and drug den all in one.

Lavender Bastille: This city is only for the rich, it acts as a gateway for for more illustriously wealthy to earn the right to gamble in the main city, the High-Roller Haven. Here rich and wealthy gamblers come to spend large ammounts of money in hopes to earn a place at the High-Rollers tables in High-Roller Haven. Here all manner of fashionable clothing can be purchased from it’s many clothing stores. The one main rule of the city is that one must act in a manner of sophistication that denotes their wealth. Anyone fighting like lowly scoundrels is immediately removed from the city and lose their chance to go to High-Roller Haven.

Gentleman’s Landing: Is a city located on the waters that surround junction. Here people are either ushered into spending their money they arrived on planet with, or they are pulled into the gang. This city trains all it’s new men in the code, as well as how to be proper gentlemen. One must act accordingly if they want to be a Dandy. So they are taught how to appropriately dress and talk to better lead credence to the appearance of the gang.
