here are my plans for this month!
- A CARD GAME!!!
- september postcard
- yuri jam brainstorming (no idea what i want to do yet)
- translations for games
- line stickers... (this is low priority as it has been for the past couple of months)
yuri jam starts in october this year instead of september, so this month i'll actually be mostly working on a physical card game...! i've always wanted to work on something like this so i'm very excited. i have the rules all done but i need to do the art design - i'm excited to share it with you all once it's ready!
while it's a bit of a deviation from my usual digital games, it will be designed to be cute & lgbt+friendly (and friendly in general for everyone). after going to a couple of playtest events, i've found out, unfortunately, that even analog games can have issues with bad representation/bigotism (for example, i playtested a card game which had 'act like a chinese person' as a 'punishment game'). my goal is to make a card game that will be light fun for anyone to play.
i'm also working on implementing a number of translations for my current games! it's always exciting releasing my games in other languages but it actually takes quite a bit of time to test again in a different language (especially if it uses characters that aren't in my usual font).
as a general update for android apps, apparently ever since mid-august, google play is taking much longer to review apps. it took almost a week for A TAVERN FOR TEA to be finished processing. while i'll be trying to finish my games earlier so that i can release pc and android simultaneously, i might have other delayed android releases in the future.
