In modern AU, Luna is much less ethereal and mysterious but just as loving, and she's even more outgoing. She lives in a small house by herself at the edge of town, where she's recently moved in. She works as an event planner and she loves her job. There's a lot of organizing, taking care of decor, food, entertainment, all of which she loves. Most of all, she loves meeting new people and working with them. This does leave her feeling rather lonely when she gets home from work, and to counter that she goes out partying a lot.
As Kliss's fantasy incarnation can revolve around gathering strong and evil spirits his modern AU mirrors this by claiming his profession to be a scout for a talent agency. He has a keen eye for not only plucking prospective would-be stars but also making them look and act most marketable. The endeavor of keeping up with every hot trend has made him numb to what is conventionally popular and on his free time to vent he takes up designing unconventional clothing that might be considered high art at worst and impractical at best as well as visiting bars around town to play snooker, a cue sport game that he likes playing because "it isn't fun and you have to wear a bowtie."
