Norael charged up with lightning!

Dragons are special in our universe. On top of possessing higher intelligence than other animals, they also have "crystal hearts", or rather they have an organ near their existing heart containing a royal stone (gemstones with great magical powers). Specifically they are elemental royal stones. This is what provides them with their iconic dragon breaths.

Norael is- or was... a blue mountain drake with a crystal heart filled with lightning. These dragons revel at the top of mountains, surrounding themselves with dark storms.

Now Nor, who is a dragon in the form of a runeman, still has her crystal heart. However, it's stunted, and she can't effectively use it's powers. At most, she can channel lightning that hits her, and is immune to it's effects.

She claims to have Soot Throat (a draconic condition in which a dragon can't use their breath, resulting in them spewing and coughing up black smoke), and that she's going to cure it.

As her story progresses she will learn to wield lightning again, but not in the way she expected.
