Honey Shimeji - Desktop Companion

I've always wanted to make a shimeji of my own since the DeviantArt era but never had the skill or patience to do so. Now that I'm on ADHD medication and certainly more skilled than 10 years ago I thought "Well shit let's try it"

It took almost 2 weeks and a lot of messing around with the code but I'm happy with the result and eager to share! Download it and let me know what you think! :D

How to install:

• Download attached zip file below (Honey_Shimeji.zip)
• Extract into desired folder.
• Double Click the Shimeji-ee file (Shimeji-ee.jar).
• Right click the tray icon (heart) for general options.
• Right click a Shimeji for options relating to it.

The "Shimeji Honey Shortcut" is a special shortcut I made for the purpose of attaching it to my taskbar (you normally can't do that). If you want that as well then right click and go into properties and change the file path inside (it'll be set to my path by default).

Honey also does not clone! I know it's a common thing for shimejis but I don't want a bunch of copies running around unless I specifically request one.

If you want her to be silent then you can change that in general options by right clicking the tray icon and then "Allowed Behaviors". And finally, if she happens to throw your window away, use "Restore Windows".

Bugs: Sometimes when you launch the shimeji the tray icon (heart) will appear but no shimeji will spawn. Just keep trying if that happens and she'll eventually show up.
To get rid of the additional hearts just open up task manager and look for Java(TM) Platform SE Binary and end task.
