A less "spammy" way to share gallery links
Added 2020-09-26 00:39:54 +0000 UTCAs you may already be familiar with, every image uploaded here is available for download at MEGA through links corresponding to a particular reward. These links have up to this point been distributed manually trough private inbox to each individual patron every single month. This causes the following issues:
- It might be perceived as "spammy" to receive these links through inbox every month
- Every time you want to download something you have to fetch the link from your inbox, which might be troublesome depending on the number of messages you receive
- Every time a new patron joins or payment is processed late, it might take up to 2 days for me to be able to share the links
A solution to these issues is to re-locate the links from your inbox, and instead have them placed as the pinned post on my profile. This means that the weekly feed will no longer be the pinned post, but every time you visit my profile, you'll have the links readily available and new patrons will also have instant access to them.
Having said all this, what method do you prefer? Should the links continue to be shared through the inbox? Or should they be available as the pinned post?
