Changes and improvements for Next Year.

Well, I guess this will be a bit long, but first of all, I won't be publishing any more comics this month. The Oshi No Ko comic is also canceled due to lack of time. I had planned to start it around Christmas, but unexpectedly, I got dragged into spending Christmas with family and couldn’t begin it. Honestly, I don’t see myself starting it in these last few days either, especially knowing how complex it was going to be. So, I’m really sorry for those who were looking forward to it. I’ll see if I can at least publish an image related to the comic itself.

With that said, I want to address a few things I’ve been thinking about these past days while I wasn’t at home. Maybe some of you will find them interesting:

Comic Creation

As many of you have noticed over these months, I’ve never been able to fulfill the number of comics I say I’ll release. This is mostly due to a lack of ideas and my tendency to overpromise things when I don’t even have a solid idea. I deeply apologize for this, I’m very aware of it, and it always saddens me when I can’t deliver. This makes me push myself harder the following month, which often leads to creative blocks. I end up wasting days trying to think of something, and then nothing comes out of it.

To avoid this, I’ll simply stop announcing comics unless I have a 100% clear idea. This might mean releasing just one or two comics, or maybe none, if nothing comes to mind. This applies mostly to longer comics. For short comics, I usually come up with ideas more easily, though sometimes they evolve into more extensive works, but that’s just a possibility.

I’ve also been considering creating some completely exclusive content for Patreon and Fanbox, but I still need to think it through. Which brings me to the next topic:

Exclusive Content:

Some of you have shared feedback that you’d like more exclusive content. While the "My God" plan offers exclusive videos, since I only post 1 or 2 publicly without their alts, and the rest are subscriber only, the "My Creation" plan doesn’t have something as exclusive.

I recently added alts of some images as a perk, but I feel like I should add more exclusive content. Honestly, I’m not sure what that could be, since I want everyone to have access to my comics. I had an idea before about creating something completely unique for each member, but that would require limiting the number of subscribers in the plans, and I don’t want to do that.

So, I’d need to create a new plan while keeping "My Creation" as it is. I’ve been thinking about making some posts exclusive, but I’m not sure which ones specifically. I’ll figure it out over time. Depending on how I handle everything over the next few months, I might create the limited plan I mentioned, but I’ll first see how I manage my time with this and college, since I’ll have to juggle that once classes resume.

Plans for Next Year:

Next year, there might be changes or additions to the benefits of some plans, as well as the possibility of creating a new plan. However, I want to get better organized first and avoid overthinking or overworking myself.

I started all this because I wanted to share my ideas, and I created this Patreon because some of you just wanted to support me. Feeling like I needed to reward you, I began adding benefits little by little. But as those benefits grew, I felt like I had to provide more content than I could create, which ended up backfiring on me.

From now on, I plan to take things more calmly to prevent that from happening again. I’m sorry if the quantity of content decreases, I’ll really try to avoid that, but I’ll also focus on improving the quality of my work throughout the next year!

I apologize for the long message, but it’s something I wanted to share with you. I might have forgotten a few things (I really need to start writing my thoughts down), but I think I covered the most important points.
