Spider Queen
Added 2019-10-19 21:09:15 +0000 UTCI decided to do this little short vignette depicting the kind of peril the Golden Age Good Girls found themselves in. Shannon Kane donned a mask in 1941 to fight crime using her husband's invention, spider web fluid. She invents a gadget to propel the fluid so she can swing like an acrobat. It's much easier to fight crime in a pleated miniskirt than the era's traditional female clothing. Too bad the Comics Code in the mid 50's interrupted lascivious depictions in comic art. Who knows what could have become of the Spider Queen?

And as is the norm in those classic comics, it titilates without being lewd. Definitely seems like the boss "Marco" is rather put off by the alarm - that he cannot spend more "quality time" with the voluptuous vixen - and instead has to quickly dispose of her in the conflagration. Such a shame :)
