August 2024 Forecast & Sticker Preview!

How in the ever-lovin' 'eck is it AUGUST?! I swear, I was JUST posting the July forecast?? WHERE HAS THE MONTH GONE I WANT IT BACK PLEASE.

I apologize again that this post is a liiiiiiiiittle late...but a lot has been going on for me the past couple weeks. I'll save the rambling for another time, but basically it feels like the universe is going final-boss and throwing everything at me at the same time. In the past I know I would have probably been prone to spiralling, but I think I am handling it a bit better. At the very least, instead of shutting down completely, I'm more inclined to just LOL at the sheer absurdity of it all. But progress, I guess?!

With that, may I present to you, August's sticker sheet: Terrific Travels - South Korea! 🇰🇷 If you would like to get these stickers and a postcard in the mail, please sign up or adjust to the Prism Pals Tier or Spectral Stars Tier time before 15th August!

After the double-feature stickers from last month, I was honestly a little wary and even kind of worried that I would have the energy to be able to do this one. Particularly, because there are a whole bunch of details in some of the designs that I wanted to make sure were as accurately represented as possible (while still fitting onto Buns and Pings that is). I had to scrap some original sketches that turned out probably too complex, and still ended up having to spend a ton of time on tiny details that you may not even be able to see in the end LOL. Ah well. This is my labour of love for you all. 💖

With the good (?) news out of the way, now for the unfortunate part that I've been trying to put off for months, but no longer can: Tier (Tear 😢) Pricing Changes.

📣 Tier Pricing Changes

I will have a more dedicated post separately that breaks it down, but here are the key changes:

• Monochrome Mates will be deprecated.
  
• RGB Buddies, CMYK Chums, Prism Pals, and Spectral Stars will be increased.
  
• RGB Buddies will absorb some of the CMYK Chums rewards.
  
• CMYK Chums will receive an additional physical reward (individual sticker) each month.
  

These changes are NOT going to be immediate, and even then, you will NOT be charged immediately. More details will be in the follow-up post so please keep an eye for that!

Please know that these changes are not being made lightly in any way, and I have truly been deliberating very hard over them (to the point of procrastination, probably...). And I absolutely understand if this means that you need to change your memberships. The last thing I want is for anybody to feel obligated, or even worse, actually put strain on their own financial well-being for my sake. After all, your presence is my greatest present. Truly.

✨ August Special Events!

I'll be doing something a little different here and make a separate poll post for deciding the hangout date. But I also wanted to say a HUGE THANK YOU to you amazing Shining Stars who came to the Discord hangout/"Mockshop" a few weeks ago!! It made the whole process so much easier and as I'm editing the video, it's proving WAY better than if I had just done it on my own talking at the microphone. So I will be doing the next part in the Hangout again, so please keep an eye out for the poll so that you can get a say for which date works the best!
