Concept sketches for Calib Lester
Enter Calib Lester one of the werewolves working at Howling Meats. Primarily Calib is a meat cutter preferring to work in the back chopping up whatever meat the guys bring in. He's handy with a knife and knows the ins and outs of the job well. He is also a bitten werewolf and in the world of 'Meat' that means he has the added stigma of not only being black but being infected as well. He takes it in stride though more so now that he has a relationship with T.J. a fellow werewolf at the butcher shop. He has the admiration of Shane for his stamina to put up with so many social injustices. Calib's own views of the Alpha are one of a support as Calib since being bitten has been without much for family and the pack at the butchery fills that role. He does help out with the counter but Calib is best left out back doing his own work and making sure everything works well as the supply chain comes in. He does have the habit of breaking out into song every once in a while when he is in a good mood but no one seems to mind this. Favorite underwear is a pair of white thongs as Calib says "No point in hiding it if ya got it."
