Some Bad News (Maybe)

That's ok, I don't mind, BUT, they want me to verify every patron's age in writing. I do hope everyone is over 18 years of age, but I am not comfortable asking you all to provide me proof. They are requesting your driver's license, passport or other State issued proof. So, I am asking you all what YOUwould like to do. Note, I have set up a Subscribestar Adult account, but they recommend $5 per month. As here, I will only charge when I've uploaded a minimum of 8 images. I will NOT use a recurring charge system. Please let me know what you'd like to do. I will keep the Patreon site open as long as I can. However, I will discontinue updating and charging beginning October, pending the results of this poll.

The funny thing is this is related to billing. Patreon is abiding by a third party billing requirement (I think a Master Card Requirement). Here's where it's funny - if there's no money being exchanged, there's no requirement. Another option I suppose is to set up a Pay Wall at DeviantArt. I only charge to make a little cash and to make sure everyone's over 18.

2023-08-28 00:53:48 +0000 UTCSubscribestar has random issues with credit cards and cookies. At least in the past I gave up supporting at least 2 creators there. Don't know how common these issues are with other countries and all.
