Veterinary Services and Service Dogs
Added 2025-07-22 14:00:10 +0000 UTCA colleague of mine, Sharon Wachsler (CPDT-KA KPA-CTP), recently wrote a great article about veterinary medicine and service dogs that I wanted to pass along.
I personally went ahead and wrote a nice email to my veterinarian thanking her for everything she and the team does for my dogs and then passed the article along, noting that I wasn't sure if they had any service dog teams as clients outside of my dad and I, but that I thought it might be helpful.
This is something you also might consider doing before your next visit or when going to a new veterinarian.
