August Call for Questions and Deep Dive (Ignoring Distractions!)

Q&A Live: Wednesday August 6th @1pm ET (check your email for the live invite or come to Patreon on that day and time)

Deep Dive Live: Tuesday August 12th @6 pm ET (link in separate post for Inner Circle) Topic: Ignoring Distractions/Neutrality  (details below)

What is a Live Q&A vs. a Deep Dive?

Live Q&A's typically last 45-60 minutes and are open to all paid DOGGY•U members. Inner Circle members can submit a question prior to the live. Q&A's are recorded and you can find every Q&A I've ever done in the "Q&A" section in the "Collections" tab.

Deep Dive's typically last 30-60 minutes and are recorded and posted to the Deep Dive Collection. They focus on one topic, covered in a webinar-style lecture. Deep Dive's are a member benefit for Inner Circle members.

LIVESTREAM Q&A INFO:

This month I we will again be using the Patreon Live feature for our Q&A, so you can attend live directly on Patreon or go back and watch the replay. You'll be able to put follow-up questions in the chat. Reminder that questions should be related to the topic I am currently covering and I do not take non-related questions during the Q&A.

Those members who are at the Inner Circle ($20/month) level are able to submit one question per month with their membership. Leave that question in the comments below.

The cut-off for submitting questions is 2 days prior to the live (Monday August 4th by 1pm ET is the last date to submit) so that I have time to prepare. Please limit questions to 1 per person so I have time to answer them within the hour. Questions should be general enough that I don't need to know your specific dog/behavior to answer the question (this also allows everyone to benefit from the question).

DEEP DIVE INFO: Ignoring Distractions with Taylor Lima

Tuesday August 12th @6 pm ET (link in separate post for Inner Circle)

This month I'm bringing on my friend and colleague Taylor Lima of Pup to Perfection to speak on training dogs to work around and ignore distractions. If your dog struggles with distractions, you'll definitely want to join as Taylor shares her expertise, along with real life exercises and video examples!

A bit about Taylor: Taylor is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer through the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers, a graduate of the Dog Training Foundations course through the Karen Pryor Academy, a Canine Good Citizen & Trick Dog Evaluator for the American Kennel Club, a gold-level Certified Trick Dog Instructor with Do More With Your Dog, and a Fear Free Certified Training Professional. Taylor has attended countless classes, seminars, webinars, conferences, and workshops with experts in a variety of sub-specialties in dog training & behavior such as Mike Shikashio, Nando Brown, Dr. Ken Martin, Shade Whitesel, Dr. Susan Friedman, Sarah Stremming, Sue Sternberg, Susan Garrett, Stef Rainer, Elicia Calhoun, Shoshana Dos, Hannah Branigan, and more.

Back to the Live Q&A: Please post your question for the August 6th Live below in the comments!

August Call for Questions and Deep Dive (Ignoring Distractions!)

Comments

Hi C Marie - no, questions do not roll over. You will need to post your questions in the allotted time when the "call for questions" post is posted on the monthly post (I also do not take questions for Q&A via messenger). Do you have notifications turned on so that you don't miss it? I'm also not 100% sure what the question is above. Please clarify what specifically you're asking and if you can have it in by 1pm today I will try to include it this month. But in the future, I need to adhere to the stated cut offs to be fair to everyone and so that I have time to prepare. Best, Laura

Granted he will be fine to do mobility tasks rt now as you said but not PSD. (Im a veteran) yet. If you cant answer now please tell me where i should put it. Thank you for all you do!
