Hurricane Michael... Bad or Swell?
Added 2018-10-09 21:39:13 +0000 UTCAs Florida buckles down for Hurricane Michael, Texas surfers already have hopes through the roof for what looks like a set up for epic Texas surf (equivalent to typical California surf).
Right now Michael is sending a ground swell to the Texas coast, forecast to arrive with the roosters call tomorrow. Coincidently a front initiating storms right now in East Texas should move offshore tonight leaving light offshore winds all day tomorrow along the NE Texas coast. Surfers know offshore winds against a ground swell is RIGHTEOUS!
I'm currently gluing a GoPro to my surfboard. Of course I'm booked singing tomorrow from 11:30AM-1:30PM. Might go before, might go after, might go both. STOKED!!!
