Heads or Tails?
Added 2018-06-24 17:01:03 +0000 UTCYESTERDAY cell near Eads Colorado wrapped up for 1 cycle and then proofed into outflow. Second day in a row for that song and dance. Still captured some great lightning. That's been the hit song this year. I plan to post pics in this thread of the days sights. Did that yesterday and it was a lot of fun. SO, WHERE TO NEXT GUYS ? Heads has... - 40 kts 500mb flow - weak surface flow - more directional shear - dews in the 50s - CAPE 1-2 K - hrrr precipitation confidence low Tails has... - 25 kts 500mb flow - slightly stronger surface flow - dews 60s- 70 (HP bombs?) - MONSTER CAPE approaching 4k - hrrr higher precipitation confidence (but then again, so was yesterday in that vacinity)

Mean supercell in Colorado but that was short lived. Followed weakening cell into New Mexico, then storm system across the OK panhandle all the way to Wichita KS. The highlight was the upward lightning. Hope my footage does it justice.
