THIS WEEKEND looks to be active for storms. Not so sure about the tornado parameters. More on that later.

2021-06-18 01:42:29 +0000 UTCThese are really nice maps! When the pandemic is over, I will have to make a trip someday, borrow my brother's jeep and hit the road. With all the technology and good camera equipment, it's amazing! Back when there were still dinosaurs roaming the planet, we just looked at the sky, the printout from NOAA (we could print it at Michigan State Univeristy from the mainframe computer) and "guess" where to go. I finally got in the habit of parking on the corner of Meridian and Holt Road in Ingham County. From there, you could go south to Mason, east to Fowlerville or west to Delta Township. If you saw one or two other stormchasers, it was crowd - LOL!!! None of my friends would come with me because they said it was "nuts" to watch thunderheads and "hope" you might see something come down from the sky. Well... each to his own.
