Added 2021-06-16 23:37:38 +0000 UTCGood luck making sense of my scribbles… Shoulda coulda woulda made the drive to Montana last week. I’m being picky and it’s costing me a deficit of storms. Sitting out Iowa tomorrow. Perhaps something in South Dakota or better yet, Kansas on Saturday and if the GFS verifies (I’m very skeptical) a much needed cold front scours the plains on Monday bringing squalls to Texas / my neck.
Yay, Thunder… sea breeze bringing some pop ups at this moment.

2021-06-18 01:58:47 +0000 UTCHere in Salt Lake City Utah, we are in the middle of a record heat wave - 107 on Tuesday, I think. Been 101 at my house which is off the valley floor and is usually cooler than the NWS at the airport. Hank, feel free to send the rain here. We are also in a record "exceptional" drought, have been for a year or so. Heat + drought = Red Flag or Extreme fire danger for almost the whole state. We're hoping the Governor declares a complete fireworks/open flame ban for the whole state.
