I’m currently in Tulsa replacing the Wind Breaker’s front tires. Last night’s storms over KS, NE, MO, and IL were big time spriters. Paul Smith and I sat on a gravel road together for 3 hours marveling the high frequency of the sprites. At times, one every 10 seconds. Paul exclaimed he’s never seen so many. Unfortunately they were small, far away and we were shooting through soupy dew points, so not the most beautiful captures. After the shooting, changing a tire on a freshly graveled road with a Toyota dinky stock Jack was a challenge.
TONIGHT I’m targeting lightning in the squall forecast to push south through Oklahoma. You should too 🙃
