I'm debating uploading this time lapse video to the Pecos Hank Channel as a good example of "tornadogenesis" or to wait and include it in the "Best of 2019" video. As it stands, this is not of the quality I prefer for an upload, but there may be some good information I can weave in to lift the mediocre footage. Perhaps the Wind Breaker farting seats is entertaining enough?
There might be some value in these clips when compared to Dr. Leigh Orf's simulations...
1. Note the initial longer, flatter look to the wall cloud before it appears to be squashed and organized into a tight rotation (tornado cyclone).
2. Prior to the tornado condensing to the ground you can make out several individual vortices (some as snaky funnels, some as twisting cloud material) orbiting or making a U-turn around the southern flank of the tornado cyclone. Perhaps this is the "parade of vorticity" being pulled back toward a foci and possibly eventually consolidating to become a tornado?
3. Note there appears to be no RFD in the early rotation organization stages.
