Wow! The New Mexico storm events were breathtakingly delicious. Sparse roads forced many of us to take in the dreamy supercells from a distant. Jamie and I scored multiple glorious supercells & time lapses with wide open spaces... Something much needed in my portfolio.
The rest of May into June...
The GFS is flopping back and forth between meager storm set-ups and tornado bonanzas. The latest run suggests a trough will eject into the Plains Wednesday and Thursday for perhaps a few days of burrito opportunities...
By June 4th, almost all burrito hope dies... Just like Yesterday /:
I would put very little emotion into any forecast beyond 6 or 7 days attm (at the moment).
I'm waking up in Houston with a car load of beautiful storm content needing organization and backing up. Current plans are to head back out Tuesday or Wednesday. I can't wait to show you the swirling & flashing goodies.

At least I saw that pretty Amarillo supercell and that big MCS moving out of TX Hill Country and into southeast TX. It's been a rough year for me so far, I'm hoping there's some nice setups in South Dakota soon, as I can realistically get to those on a moment's notice.
