April 29 Target - KS and or NE
Added 2022-04-29 13:37:12 +0000 UTCA very confusing target today if aiming for discreet supercells… Models seem to suggest a series of MCSs (Mesoscale Convective System / surging cluster of storms) will mitigate the photogenic tornado potential on the Kansas Nebraska border, but I’m uncertain… likely a biproduct of my 10% significant tornado outlook pattern recognition optimism / bias. Perhaps a discreet cell or two will fire on the dryline in Kansas later. Current plan is to get to Concordia Kansas and reassess. I’ll post updates here when I can. Looks like a busy week. 2022-04-30 02:12:06 +0000 UTCWell Omaha just went into Severe Thunderstorm Warning. There was also Tornado Warning in Pilger, NE (twin tornadoes 6/2014). Storms have been popping up all over the place. Some significant straight line winds & ping pong size hail south of Omaha. I knew it would wait until after dark to hit! Ugh. Might be sleeping in the basement tonight.
